Unfortunately, about a month ago, the emblem fell off of my Mercedes. So, instead of taking my car to the dealership I decided to take a chance online and see if anyone would sell them for cheap. I ordered a Chevy grille from Parts Geek and although it came quickly, it was delivered broken (unfortunately this seems to be a common theme here). There was very little bubble wrap around the grille and even though I did purchase "insurance" I'm not sure what the insurance covers or if I'll get a replacement or even a refund. My 1st $273.00 Bosch alternator was left at doorstep and stolen. Parts Geek response " not our problem "..call UPS. Ordered $327.00 OEM Genuine alternator, was sent back by UPS by mistake..10 days latter still have not received it. Only one time in 3 weeks have I been able to talk to customer service person. I ordered a driver side front control arm from parts geek, and was shipped the passenger side part. This is a Mercedes part and costs almost $500. In their defense the part was labeled incorrectly. OK, inconvenient, but understandable. What happened next is why I'm writing this.. Please be aware of Parts Geek return policy. They sold a part that was supposed to fit a 2013 Chevy Avalanche. When I received the item, the box clearly states it is not for that year model. Looked it over and sure enough it will not work on this vehicle. Tried to return the item and it would cost at least $55.00 for postage. They shipped my overnight package US mail. From California to Pennsylvania. Its over a week and I still don't have my part and my car in not drivable. Customer service was so slow it took a week to get them to at least credit my shipping charges. But I still don't have my part or my car. They are costing me a fortune. Ordered new steering rack from PG for my supra. installed new rack and sent my old rack off for core return. about a week later, there is P/S fluid leak in the right boot, at a joint on the top of the boot. the boot is not suppose to have fluid in it. the boot's job is to not let dust or water get on the rack. the seal is leaking. tried contacting the company via phone and fax to no prevail....
