Parts Geek is terrible. It took over an hour to reach a customer service agent.

He said no problem, and he sent me a 'non-paid' return shipping label. I called back, and I left my phone number so I didn't have to wait on hold forever.

They never called back. I tried to find an email address, and there is none.

Order shipped from 2 diff. locations.

Chicago & NY. Paid for economy ship. NY order received in Davenport, Ia in a NY minute. The part of the order that ship from 160 miles away, Chicago, went to Phoenix, Az.

then to KC. then to Cedar Rapids, Ia then to Rock Island, IL which is the servicing Fed Up center for my address. Now, the shipping fiasco is 100% FedUps doing. The portion that PartsGeek plays in this is, I cannot get ahold of anyone to 1.

Request a RTA#, as I had to go to the dealer to get the part and 2. To request a refund on my shipping cost. Which also makes me question on the invoice, there was SHIPPING & HANDLING charged, as well as SERVICE CHARGES. What in the *** are SERVICE CHARGES?

I pay a price for the part. I pay for the shipping. I pay the taxes, then on top of all that, there are SERVICE CHARGES? Are those the charges to send my order several thousand miles before I get it, when I am located just 160 miles from the shipping point?

Then, cannot reach anyone to straighten this out. Their prices may be cheaper on some/most parts, but I'd rather pay a bit more, to have proper CUSTOMER SERVICE. The CEO and PRESIDENT, BRIAN T. should be ashamed of how his Company does business.

As for business, I'll be taking mine elsewhere from now on. Yes, I called Fed Up to inquire with them..she tried to say the package never went to Phoenix or KC or Cedar Rapids. I explained that I had screenshots showing otherwise. Suddenly the call gets dropped.

Hmmmm. Sick and tired of people and companies not willing to be accepting of their mistakes. Im not supposed to be upset, or frustrated. What a world we have allowed to transpire, by just keeping quiet, and not voicing our opinions and the facts.

Standard Operating Procedure now a days, PASS THE BUCK. DONT ANSWER PHONES FOR CUSTOMER SVC. Enough is enough!!! Going to start speaking my mind again, and if feelings get hurt, perhaps they'll remember how hurt their feelings were and strive to maybe take some pride in their work ethics.

But 3 package had one expedited shipping. They ground shipped it, saying that it will be within the time window.

Change the date from the 22nd to the 23rd. When I place the orders so the time window was expandid. Not offer a refun knowing they can read. On the tracking that everything was sent ground.

So charge me for a service that I did not receive and change the shipping window from Tuesday or Wednesday to Saturday and said that they still have until Monday. I paid 26 extra dollars. Are at least almost 26 extra dollars. For expedited shipping, no refund.No apologies, no care.

Horrible customer service.

I bought a lot of parts from them.And truly will quit buying parts from them.

I added a pic of the email date of order you can see it says June 22 inside the email says 23. Was sent on the 22nd.

Purchased a tail light assembly for a 2023 Kia Telluride, it came but its not an LED so I initiated a return I was sent return instructions which are incomplete and mentioned nothing about the return policy but no QR code or shipping label. I attempted to contact them by phone which turned out to be impossible I then reached out to customer service after packing the part back in the original boxs and tapeing it shut they said I would need to take picture of the box with the label also the item and provide our VIN # requesting a QR code or shipping label which they refuse to send because we ordered the wrong part I told them they could deduct the shipping from my refund.

They continued to refuse. I have never dealt with a company that has given me such a hard time. After all,that they didnt want to see the pictures because we were wrong.

So we will ship the part back and pray for a refund. I would never do business with this company again!

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with partial refund. Not doing any more buisness with the crooks and advising everyone I get a chance not to either. Don’t deal with them again.

Ordered 3 parts total 102.01, only correct part 15.87. Cost 33.92 to return other 2 parts that the salesperson made the mistake of sending wrong.Received 67.95 compensation which means the 15.87 door latch ended up costing me 67.98. They wont answer phone or call back.

I brought a 201* ***xi alternator and the core charge is $105.00. It cost $100.00 to send back the core to Parts Geeks. So I'll get just $5 for refund. I will never buy parts from Parts Geeks company.

PG not only cheated me out of a lot of money they also wasted more than 5 hours of my time and the problem still has not been fixed!

Customer service was unreachable after four attempts (two failed callbacks, one disconnected queue call, and one closed-office disconnect).

My package arrived opened.

Incorrect parts were included (duplicate left-side solenoid, right-side solenoid).

A major item, the Ignition Coil Set with Plugs, was missing.

Tracking information was inaccurate, showing delivery six days earlier than actual.

These issues combinedcustomer service failures, shipping errors, missing product, and inaccurate trackingare unacceptable and must be addressed promptly.

Never received my parts

I ordered parts from them a month ago. After two weeks of not getting anything, I contacted them.

Customer service assured me that it was shipped and on the way, even though when I asked, they couldn't give me the date it was shipped. The tracking shows the parts never left their warehouse. I filed a claim for the missing parts after about three weeks. After about a month, they marked it as delivered and closed my claim.

The tracking still shows that FedEx never had the package in their possession and that it was still at the Parts Geek warehouse. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau yesterday. Parts Geek's customer service is horrible and very dishonest. The only reason I gave them a one-star rating is that you can't give them a no-star rating.

I got ripped off for $85.90. I wouldn't recommend buying anything from them.

Refunded partial amount

Ordered a muffler from PartsGeek in early May 2025, cost $157. Received a box 2x the size, with almost no padding inside.

Box delivered by UPS was partially open at seams, and had a small hole corresponding to some scratches on the muffler. But the muffler had scratches ALL OVER it, and was dented in 2 places an inch deep. Obviously NOT damged in transit, and PartsGeek sent me a seriously damaged part. When I complained, their first reponse was to return it at MY COST.

UPS wanted $200, saying the box was too large. PartsGeek did not want to pay this any more than I did, so their 2nd response was to send a return label for FedEx. PartsGeek then refunded my money exactly 1 month later, minus $11. No explanation.

Which part of this exactly was my fault? Apparently, when they send a damaged part to a customer and the customer is not satisfied, that customer is being unreasonable, and must be penalised.

Told them if they dont refund the $11 penalty fee, I would post this review on a number of complaint websites. They did not respond, so here we are.

Sold me parts that did not fit my vehicle and would not let me return them

I used the chat to order parts, gave them my VIN for part order, they gave me a link to purchase the parts which I did, I purchased the parts and they do not fit my vehicle. They said I ordered the wrong parts, I would have to pay for shipping and a restocking fee.

This company is a scam.

They sold me the wrong parts for $500 and will not accept a return and refund my money. In their return list there isn't even an option for parts don't fit or in correct part was sold, every option for your return is your fault.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. I'm not sure if it is 'normal' practice for this company to make it's customers go through hoops when returning an item and then tell them, it's no deal and make them go through more hoops, although with this company I would suggest to 'cut to the chase' and file a dispute with the source by which they were funded... like PayPal, visa, etc.

I ordered a part from their website that was the wrong description- the part did not fit. I requested a return label and refund- after 8 emails requesting pictures and info, 3 phone calls and 3 chat sessions I was told it was the right part ...

I sent pictures proving it was not the right part.
In reading countless reviews, this is a common theme where returns are concerned even if it is Part Geeks error. There is a back and forth game that is played where the customer gets nowhere fast.
Bottom line, it's a hit and miss with this company ...there many other sellers out there, so save yourself the hassle and shop where there are confirmed, reputable return policies.
