Parts Geek has one outstanding customer service: price. Everything else that stands out needs corrected. For example, their parts filter does not go to sub-models before listing parts. That is incompetent by any standard. For example, the sub-model list is below part information in a micro-font, which makes mistakes inevitable. I needed a left rear tail light for a 2008 Honda Element. I ordered it carefully, making sure to have the proper make, model and year, AND checked the picture to make sure it matched up. I received the wrong part (ok, mistakes happen, but now fix it). I have called twice, and the phone simply rings until the automated service hangs up on you. First, I wish I had seen all the negative views before ever ordering from PartsGeek. I ordered over $300 worth of parts and paid for a 2 day expedite, the main part was improperly advertised (color) and have spent the last week receiving run-around canned customer service response messages, only to eventually get an RMA and they expect me to pay for the return shipment and refuse to reimburse me for the 2 day expedite cost, all because of their... Parts Geek combines highly confusing and complicated shipment and return policies with abysmal customer service. Last fall I ordered three replacement engine coils for my 99 Jag XK8, based on the information on Parts Geek's site identifying which parts would be required. Iorderd parts on Feb 11, 2012 and I have sent 2 tickets to Parts Geek. I can only get the recorded music and one live body. why is it so hard for PartsGeek to talk with the customers. I will look elsewhere for future parts. This is so sad. The call numbers are a joke and you just get routed back and forth. that is no way to run a business. I only want to get my parts or have my mony returned to my credit card. Atleast PG could answer... Read more
