The consumer is going to pay.I ordered part # 113-127-25D (Fuel Pump) for my 1972 VW Beetle.
The one in the picture on their web site is the correct fuel pump for my vehicle. I received an EMPI design replacement which is not the same as the pump I ordered and is not the same as the Fuel Pump pictured in their web site. The part physically does not fit on the vehicle. I fully understood their return policies as well but when you visually see the item offered for sale and you get something totally different, this is bait and switch.
PartsGeek will make money on orders regardless. Their return shipping policy needs to be changed to not punish the consumer further for a PartsGeek or their suppliers mistakes. IT’s bad enough that you get the wrong part.
I will never order from Parts Geek again and I strongly urge anyone ordering from them to reconsider your purchase.Paying for return shipping on the wrong part can be very expensive depending upon the item to be returned.
